Who we are
Synktra is the trading name used for the IT services described on this website. For privacy enquiries, email hello@synktra.com or call 07308 123175. We are responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website is used.
What information we collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, business name, approximate team size, services you are interested in and the information you choose to include in your message. We may also receive ordinary technical information associated with visits to the website through our hosting provider.
Please do not submit passwords, financial details, special-category information or confidential customer records through the enquiry form.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry details to answer questions, arrange an introductory call, understand your requirements, prepare quotations and communicate about services you have requested. Our usual lawful basis for responding to business enquiries is our legitimate interests in operating our business and responding to requests. Where steps are taken at your request before entering into a contract, contractual necessity may also apply. We do not use an enquiry as consent to send unrelated marketing emails.
Where your information goes
This website is hosted by Netlify. Enquiry form submissions are handled using Netlify Forms and may be forwarded to our business email service, Google Workspace, when notifications are configured. These service providers process information on our behalf under their applicable terms. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage follow-up and maintain appropriate business records. If you become a customer, relevant records may need to be retained for longer for contractual, accounting or legal reasons. You can ask us about the retention of your particular enquiry using the contact details above.
International processing
Our hosting and email service providers may process or store information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the applicable arrangements provided by those services and review them as part of our supplier arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal information, object to certain processing, or request portability. You can contact us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
Cookies and analytics
We have not intentionally installed advertising trackers or third-party behavioural analytics in this website package. Our hosting provider may use technical storage or access mechanisms required to operate the service. See our cookies information for more details.
